Boston for Book Lovers

I am a self-professed book worm. I can spend hours in used bookstores collecting even more books to put on my already overstocked shelves. My love of books made Boston the perfect city to nurture my addiction! I must also mention that the food was amazing. I had clam chowder at America's oldest restaurant, Union House and delicious lobster rolls at Row 34, and fresh muffins and chocolate filled croissants from The Thinking Cup in Boston Commons.  It was so beautiful to walk around the North End open market and hear that famous Boston accent being thrown around. I had the perfect friend and tour guide Monica, to show me around Boston.

Cambridge, where I spent a few hours, is full of bookstores. More than I can count. I got my hands on a couple of good reads. The true nerd in me shrieked when I saw Alice Walker's first novel, The Third Life of Grange Copeland on the shelf at Harvard Bookstore for $3.
